2006 Internet Business Trophy Award

BPM Lux represented by its Managing Director Robert Thiemann, won the International Business Trophy 2006 (IBT) during a dinner organized on July 12 by APSI (Association of Professionals of the Information Society) at the restaurant "Le Glacis du Théâtre" in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg. This year, the jury was composed by Price Waterhouse Coopers, Deloitte and Luxconsult. Created in 2001-2002, the IBT rewards Internet projects designed in Luxembourg and obeying precise criteria: Product innovation, application of the new service, advantage for the public, management tools, security tools for data protection, user friendliness.
The bpm-lux.com site, obtained this reward for its front- as well as its back-office aspect: The ergonomics of this trilingual site as well as its underlying technology have been rewarded. Apart from classical information, also available at different commercial sites, BPM customers can read their scanned mail wherever they are around the world. This process is achieved by secure servers. To connect their mailbox, customers get an identification code and a password. Hence, they remain informed, without stress and under full discretion, of all important mail, even if they are absent for a long period of time.
BPM Lux, started in September 2005, is an affiliate of RT-Log SA, founded in 2004. It consists of a physical postal address, accessible 24/24 hours and 7/7 days receiving letters, registered mail and parcels from its customers. In addition, it offers personalized services of notification, re-expedition, reading and electronic archiving of received mail. To reduce cost, parcels may be sent to Germany, France, Belgium or Luxembourg, BPM takes care that they are transferred to the Grand-Duchy.
