BPM-Lux provides a maximum liability sum of 500€ per parcel received in a continental Europe maildrop.
The maximum Liability for Transfers between France, Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg is €500 per Parcel covering loss or damage. - Insurance

You can buy additional insurance during the shipping instructions process.
The maximum liability for parcels handled by BPM-Lux.com and shipment to worldwide destinations is 500€ per parcel. We recommend that you take additional insurance for all shipments which exceed that value.
Additional Transport Insurance Cost:( optional ).
Minimum € 10 + 5 %o ( per mil ) of declared value.
- VAT Treatment

Companies registered in EU countries may request the reverse charge procedure if they are VAT-registered in the country of registration and have declared this number in the BPM account. BPM will request a registration certificate. After verification, invoices will be issued without German VAT.
Private individuals in Europe and worldwide will be charged the German VAT rate for services in Europe.
Private individuals in Europe and worldwide will be charged the German VAT rate for transport operations within Europe.
Individuals and companies worldwide will be charged without VAT for overseas transport operations (transport operations between EU and non-EU countries).

Mail forwarding
Mail and parcels received at maildrops in the UK, Canada, USA, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Australia, Spain and Luxembourg will be stored for 30 days free of charge before forwarding.
PICKUP in Luxembourg of Oversized items (Items bigger than XL = > 0,200 m3)
7 days free storage in Luxembourg.
Customers in Luxembourg are urged to activate the Hold feature when planning to be absent for longer than 7 days. This will save storage and handling charges.

Prepayment of BPM credits: By paying credits in advance, BPM customers can get huge rebates and influence how high the cost of the credits (handling charge) will be. The more you buy, the cheaper they get. Save handling and transfer fees by buying credits in advance.
This applies for all BPM services, excluding subscriptions and freight charges.

The balance of advance payments can be refunded less a service charge of 5%. A minimum of € 4 applies.

Hold: BPM customers Worldwide may chose to have the parcels and
documents received, placed in storage for short to long periods, instead
of having them delivered to a PICKUP Solution, or forwarded on a daily,
weekly, or monthly basis.
With HOLD, customers can place items received in storage during their absence, if travelling, for busines, pelasure or relocating.
With HOLD: parcels will remain in the sorting centre in a reserved and secured area awaiting customers' instructions.
Request items at least three working days before the desired PICKUP date with following options: ( additional costs apply ).
1) Forwarding with Home delivery: especially useful if you also received oversized items, for ex. XXL or a large quantity of parcels. The selected items can be forwarded to your home or any other address of your choice, anywhere in the world (freight charges apply as per our shipping calculator).
2) Forward and Pickup at any of the 22.000 Parcelshops in Europe we are partnering with.
3) PICKUP oversized and XXl Items in Luxembourg at our PICKUP Window in Roodt-sur-Syre.

Address book: BPM provides an address book where you can save and edit shipping addresses.
- Auto Scan

Auto Scan: With BPM Auto Scan you read the content of your
incoming postal mail and documents online (via a secured SSL server) in
the inbox of your Virtual Mailbox in real time, thereby saving time and
forwarding costs.
- After scanning you will see a preview of the document's first page in the inbox of the Virtual Mailbox.
- By clicking on the PDF link you can open, download or print the full scan, including a scan of the envelope, as well as all the pages that arrived.
Auto Scan in Luxembourg, Germany, France, Belgium, will be carried out on the day of reception.
Autoscans In the UK, Australia, Spain and Italy, will be carried out on the business day after reception.
Please note: newspapers, magazines, books, parcels, CD ROMs and DVDs, etc. wil not be scanned. The items will remain in your Virtual Mailbox or placed in storage.,If you need the item to be forwarded, please give a forwarding instruction.

Scan on demand in Luxembourg, Germany, France and Belgium
requested before 12:00 GMT + 1 will be carried out on the same business
day.
UK, Canada, USA, Italy, Australia, Spain: The scan order will be carried out on the following business day.- Scan on demand for all the letters and documents marked.
- By doing this you authorize BPM-Lux to open your letters and documents and scan them for you.
- Scan on demand will be charged as per published rates under the as-you-go fees list that you'll find under Pricing and Register.
- Magazines and books will not be scanned.
- After scanning you will see a preview of the document's first page n the inbox of the Virtual Mailbox.
- By clicking on the PDF link you can open, download or print the full scan, including a scan of the envelope, as well as all the pages that arrived.
- Discard

Customers may choose to discard letters, documents and magazines free of charge. The item selected will be physically removed from your BPM Mailbox.
Items not discarded will be shipped home with the next forwarding order.
If no shipping or discard order is received, storage charges apply after 30 days.
- Storage of Documents after Scanning

Auto Scan customers may select the document storage service for letters and documents.
Documents will be archived in a secured area after scanning.
- Fuel Surcharge
-
This surcharge may vary by carrier and season depending on the fuel cost fluctuation. Carriers do not include this cost in the freight charge. The rates shown in our Shipping Calculator include the fuel surcharge. The rates may vary accordingly.
- BPM Number

The BPM number is the main sorting criterion. Letters, documents and parcels without a BPM number may be delayed or returned to sender if not claimed within 14 days.
- Damaged Parcels
-
Please note that BPM receives mail and parcels in bulk at all its sites. It is not possible to check every item for external damage.
All goods are received in apparently good condition. BPM cannot issue guarantees for the contents of goods. Please note that we cannot refuse goods on your behalf, as we cannot decide for you whether you want to retain the item and how you are going to settle the claim with your supplier/merchant.
- Missing or Lost Items

If you are missing an item delivered to BPM, please check the status of the shipment with the tracking number received from your sender on the carrier's website. If it was delivered and signed by BPM staff after more than 48 business hours, please contact customer service by email at info[at]bpm-lux.com with the tracking number, carrier, box, content, value and description, as well as the name, city and zip code of the sender. Even if your tracking information shows receipt by BPM staff, your item may be delayed because of a missing BPM number in the consignee's field.

What type of goods can I have forwarded to me?
Anything that is not banned by the country of origin, the country of destination, US, European and local customs and post office authorities. If it is banned, BPM cannot ship it, or the authorities may confiscate the item.
Certain countries have prohibited different items. It is the customers' responsibility to comply with current government regulations or laws applicable in each country. Customers are also advised to refer to each country's prohibited articles list.

The team of BPM is not allowed to sort out unwanted mail, advertising, ( junk mail ), for the customer. The customer has the following options:
Letters, documents and magazines for BPM customers will be announced in the inbox but delivered to the address of the customer via Postal Services once a week, on the day selected by the customer, or on a monthly basis, or on demand. The cost will be deducted as per published tariff.
The customer will be notified of the arrival of these items daily.
The customer can check his Virtual Mailbox for sender details. Items will be stored during 30 days free of charge.
The customer can discard free of charge junck mail, and no needed letters before the end of the free storage period or next forwarding.
If the customer needs to receive important items before, he can request:
1) A scan on demand of the letter or document received.
2) A delivery to his address via postal services for the next business day. - Maximum sizes by Delivery solution
